Takao has worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years. Through his dance career he was introduced to a vibrant artistic community in New York City, where he was influenced and inspired particularly from photographers and performers. Since then Takao has developed his craft specialising in motion and photography, working across the US, Hong Kong, Japan and now based in London. His photography and films have been showcased in exhibitions, publications, advertising, site specific performances, theatres and festivals.
